Ruthmann Schweiz AG is pleased to announce the successful handover of a new VERSALIFT VDT-180-FZ on a Mercedes-Benz 519 CDI 4 x 2 to Elektrizit\u00e4tswerke des Kantons Z\u00fcrich (EKZ). The ceremonial delivery took place at the Wetzikon depot, where the employees enthusiastically received the new aerial work platform. <\/p>\n\n

The vehicle impresses with its extensive equipment, which has been specially adapted to the requirements of EKZ. The highlights include <\/p>\n\n

  • Offset travel:<\/strong> Enables travel with the working platform raised, saving valuable time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Hybrid drive:<\/strong> Ensures environmentally friendly and energy-efficient use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Workshop equipment:<\/strong> Provides optimum working conditions for employees on site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Passageway to the cab:<\/strong> Increases operator comfort and safety.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    The vehicle, painted in the desired color of lemon green, also impresses with a 4-wheel parking brake and a trailer coupling. These features make the vehicle not only an eye-catcher, but also a versatile work tool. <\/p>\n\n

    The technical features of the aerial work platform include a working height of 18 meters, a reach of 9.5 meters and a basket load of 230 kg. These parameters enable it to be used in a wide range of applications and guarantee maximum efficiency and safety at work. <\/p>\n\n

    With this new acquisition, EKZ is strengthening its fleet and improving the conditions for reliable and safe work at great heights.
