As part of a demonstration tour in Switzerland, RUTHMANN representatives showcased the fully electric RUTHMANN STEIGER\u00ae TBR 260 E Ampero aerial work platform, mounted on an IVECO E-Daily chassis, in real-world conditions.<\/p>\n\n
The participating customers were particularly impressed by the performance of the all-electric solution. With a maximum working height of 26 m and a lateral reach of up to 17 m, the machine offers a wide range of applications. The double-insulated work basket also enables safe operation even in sensitive areas. <\/p>\n\n
Another advantage is the high degree of flexibility offered by various support options\u2014even operations on challenging terrain with gradients of up to 10\u00b0 (18%) were carried out without any problems during the demonstrations.<\/p>\n\n
With a total weight of 6.6 tons, this fully equipped work platform offers ample storage space for materials and equipment during daily use. Its top speed, limited to 45 km\/h, also allows the vehicle to be driven in Switzerland with a Class B driver\u2019s license. <\/p>\n\n
The machine shown has been in successful use at IWB Basel for about a year now. RUTHMANN would like to extend its special thanks to IWB Basel for its support during the demo tour, as the company made its machine available for the presentations. <\/p>\n\n
