Kranpunkten is expanding its fleet with six new RUTHMANN hybrid work platforms. Two new RUTHMANN STEIGER® TB 270 pro Hybrid and four new TBR 230 Hybrid will soon be part of the rental range.

The Swedish company is increasingly relying on a hybrid and electric fleet with the latest technology. For this reason, a RUTHMANN STEIGER® TB 270 Hybrid has already been in use in Gothenburg since spring 2023. This STEIGER® is very popular for various jobs in and around the city. A key advantage of hybrid access platforms is that they are electric and can therefore be operated with very little noise. The TB 270 Hybrid has a normal, low-emission diesel engine that is fueled with the renewable fuel HVO 100. The lithium-ion battery for the platform superstructure can be recharged while driving between jobs, with a charging time of two hours. The performance is identical to the standard models.

From this year, 6 more RUTHMANN STEIGER®s will complete the rental range at the locations in Stockholm and Gothenburg. These include two RUTHMANN STEIGER® TB 270 pro Hybrid and four TBR 230 Hybrid.

The TB 270 pro Hybrid achieves a working height of 27 meters with a maximum reach of 18.1 meters. With a basket load of 230 kg, improved working speeds and almost silent operation are possible.

The TBR 230 Hybrid also enables almost silent working. With a working height of 23 meters and a reach of 17.5 meters, the work platform is suitable for a wide range of applications at lofty heights.
