Eurogruas Algeciras receives a new 90-meter truck-mounted working platform – the RUTHMANN STEIGER® T 900 HF.
With the commissioning of the new T 900 HF, EUROGRUAS Algeciras continues its growth in the aerial work platform segment to serve its customers in various sectors such as industrial maintenance, wind energy, ports, shipyards, civil engineering and telecommunications, etc.
The 90-metre RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 900 HF truck-mounted working platform, which is built on a very compact SCANIA chassis, has a dual concept: 1. it works as a large machine in vertical mode with a maximum height of 90 meters and 2. thanks to its large lateral outreach of up to 42 meters, it is suitable for horizontal or even negative work. The high-flex technology enables flexible “up, down and back” movement. It is equipped with a highflex BASKET with a 440° swivel angle and a highflex TOWER with a 220° swivel angle. The STEIGER® is equipped with the DRS (Dynamic Reach System), which calculates the reach in real time and makes it possible to program the work for different wind speeds, pressure on the stabilizers or basket capacities.
Engineers from AMCO Machinery & Consulting – the official RUTHMANN sales partner in Spain – advised and accompanied EUROGRUAS ALGECIRAS during the process of specifying and configuring the customized machine. As is customary with RUTHMANN and AMCO, comprehensive training on key aspects such as machine operation, safety aspects, maintenance and servicing was provided when the STEIGER® was handed over.
