Alberto Piñeiro Lift (APL), a Spanish company specializing in large truck-mounted aerial work platforms with more than 20 years of experience in the industry, has expanded its fleet with a RUTHMANN STEIGER® T 900 HF featuring DRS technology.
This new 90-meter machine is already the third RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 900 HF that APL has added to its fleet of truck-mounted aerial work platforms, which now totals 13 units.
The 90-meter-high RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 900 HF aerial work platform, mounted on a 500-horsepower SCANIA XT chassis, stands out for its dual-mode design: 1) Vertical mode: reaches a maximum height of 90 meters, and 2) Horizontal mode: thanks to its impressive lateral reach of up to 42 meters, it is suitable for horizontal work or even for work in negative space.
Thanks to the basket’s 440° swivel range and the boom’s 220° swivel range, High-Flex technology enables flexible “up-over-back” operation. The new unit also features the DRS system, which allows for the programming of various wind speeds, pressure settings on the stabilizers, and different load capacities in the basket.

Alberto Piñeiro, the company’s managing director, chose this model once again after having had the opportunity in recent years to confirm and take advantage of the unique operating characteristics of the RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 900 HF’s 2-in-1 configuration and its versatility in handling any type of job. He also highlights the compact dimensions and flexibility of the T 900 HF when it comes to stabilizing the machine.
The experts at AMCO Machinery & Consulting, RUTHMANN’s sales and service partner in Spain, supported and advised Albert Piñeiro Lift throughout the process of specifying and customizing the machine. Regarding the technical service provided by AMCO/RUTHMANN, Alberto Piñeiro emphasizes: “We are very satisfied with the constant availability of AMCO’s technical service. They have very professional and competent electromechanics. In addition, the spare parts supply is excellent: deliveries from the central warehouse never take longer than one business day.”
Albert Piñeiro Lift operates both nationally and internationally, particularly in the industrial and energy sectors, such as wind turbine maintenance and the construction and maintenance of large-scale infrastructure. APL has branches in Galicia, Andalusia, and the Valencian Community.
