An unusual commute and an impressive work site: For a BLUELIFT SA 22 manufactured by RUTHMANN, its new assignment began with a spectacular ride via a freight elevator up to Königstein Fortress, perched high above the Elbe River.
Since the entire site is accessible only via this elevator, the stage and all its equipment were first transported 40 meters straight up. Once on the platform, it continued its journey on tracks—robust, gentle on the floor, and precise.
The SA 22 was chosen because it is ideally suited to the requirements of a historic setting: it has a compact design, operates quietly, and is equipped with a zero-emission drive system. In the future, it will be used for a wide range of tasks on the fortress grounds—from restoration work on the buildings to tree care in hard-to-reach areas.
