We congratulate Maler Butscher from Isny im Allgäu on their new RUTHMANNSTEIGER® TBR 260. The aerial work platform will be used both for the company’s own needs and for rental purposes, replacing their previous STEIGER® TBR 220.
The painting business was taken over by master painter Karl Butscher in 1976 and has since grown into a successful, medium-sized specialist firm. Today, the company employs qualified professionals in the trades, training, administration, and sales. Since 2017, the business has been run by Frank and Werner Butscher, representing the second generation of the family.
With the STEIGER® TBR 260, Maler Butscher relies on a high-performance aerial work platform in the 3.5-ton class that can be operated with a standard driver’s license. The platform offers a maximum working height of 26 meters at full basket load, a reach of up to 17 meters, and a lateral reach of 14.2 meters.
The TBR 260 impresses with its high stability, modern premium technology, and ease of use. Up to four movements can be performed simultaneously—lifting, swiveling, telescoping, and boom up/down—supplemented by the basket’s rotation function. The movable basket arm (TRUNK) can rotate up to 185° and enables precise work even in hard-to-reach areas. An improved working speed further ensures efficient operations.
The standard load capacity is 250 kg; a 300 kg capacity is available as an option. High-strength fine-grained steel, the new torsion-resistant undercarriage design, and the laser-welded beam system ensure precision, stability, and durability. The modular design and shared components with other STEIGER® models also increase operational and maintenance efficiency and reduce the need for spare parts.
We would like to thank you for your trust and wish Maler Butscher every success and safe working conditions at all times with the new RUTHMANN STEIGER® TBR 260.
