As part of a demonstration tour in Switzerland, RUTHMANN representatives showcased the fully electric RUTHMANN STEIGER® TBR 260 E Ampero aerial work platform, mounted on an IVECO E-Daily chassis, in real-world conditions.
The participating customers were particularly impressed by the performance of the all-electric solution. With a maximum working height of 26 m and a lateral reach of up to 17 m, the machine offers a wide range of applications. The double-insulated work basket also enables safe operation even in sensitive areas.
Another advantage is the high degree of flexibility offered by various support options—even operations on challenging terrain with gradients of up to 10° (18%) were carried out without any problems during the demonstrations.
With a total weight of 6.6 tons, this fully equipped work platform offers ample storage space for materials and equipment during daily use. Its top speed, limited to 45 km/h, also allows the vehicle to be driven in Switzerland with a Class B driver’s license.
