On 05.01.2024 we had the pleasure of welcoming the MAES company to RUTHMANN. The visit gave our guests an insight into the plant in Gescher-Hochmoor.
In addition to repairing and maintaining construction machinery, the Belgian company MAES has been active in the aerial work platform and crane rental business since 1976. The extensive rental portfolio already includes 4 RUTHMANNSTEIGER®s: T 540, T 570 HF-4A and T 750 HF. Since the presentation of our first 90-meter access platform at INTERMAT 2018, a RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 900 HF has also been added to the fleet. In the future, four more RUTHMANN-STEIGER®s will be added to the rental range, including two more T 900 HFs and two T 510 HFs.
As a thank you for the many years of cooperation, the entire company had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at RUTHMANN for a day. Under the motto “Where do the machines come from? And who is RUTHMANN anyway?”, the day began with a welcome from the management followed by a company presentation. During a tour of the plant, our guests were guided through the production halls and the factory premises by Production Manager Olaf Dierks.
After a refreshment break at lunchtime, various training sessions followed, specifically geared towards the different areas of responsibility of MAES employees. The service employees were able to learn more about services, such as maintenance of the access platforms, while the operators were trained specifically for their area of responsibility. While testing the machines, the Belgian customers were able to get to know other machines from the RUTHMANN product range and gain new impressions through good discussions.
The end of the day together took place in the Stephanus Brauhaus in Coesfeld. Over a delicious dinner, the employees of MAES and RUTHMANN were able to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere in order to further strengthen the relationship for the future.
