Mateco relies on HIGHFLEX technology from RUTHMANN with the STEIGER® T 650 HF

With the delivery of the new STEIGER® T 650 HF to mateco in the Netherlands, customers there can now also benefit from the HighFlex advantages.

The many possibilities offered by the RUTHMANN HF system are complex and cannot always be clearly explained in a consultation or on site.

To remedy this, mateco decided to produce a video that impressively demonstrates the advantages and also offered the opportunity to test the machine extensively.

RANGE WORLD CHAMPION

With a lateral reach of 43 meters, the STEIGER® T 650 HF is the STEIGER® with the longest reach ever built. In combination with the HighFlex technology – which enables the workman basket to rotate through 180° – this opens up fantastic and unprecedented application possibilities. For example, it is possible to work across the back of a building as if the working platform were positioned on the exact same side of the building. In practice, this opens up possibilities where previously either no working platform could be used at all or the ground at the rear of a building had to be laboriously stabilized with steel plates or excavator mats.

PERFECT FOR INSPECTION AND ASSEMBLY

With this flexibility, buildings and facades can now be completely scanned in the shortest possible time, ideal for inspecting the building structure or assembling components, for example. With a basket load of 600 kg and a working basket that can be telescoped out to a width of 3.82 meters, the T 650 HF is also ideal for this purpose. Although nothing was assembled during the mateco video shoot, the reach and HighFlex functions of the machine were tested extensively. The compact overall length of the STEIGER® was also helpful during the shoot, because with a vehicle length of just under 12 meters, it was able to easily pass the relatively narrow road to the job site.

A successful video shoot in which the STEIGER® T 650 HF was able to fully meet mateco’s high expectations in the Netherlands. The video of the job can be viewed online on YouTube.
