With the STEIGER® development of the TB 270 pro, RUTHMANN breaks through the 18 m reach mark in the 3.5 ton class of the TB series. With a sensational 18.1 m, users benefit from a full 1.7 m more reach compared to the predecessor model. The lateral reach of 15 m is another highlight. At the same time, the vehicle is particularly compact. The vehicle length has been reduced by 20 cm.
In 1907, at the age of just 20, Franz Purkathofer—who would later be appointed Commercial Councilor—built a hydroelectric power plant in Fernitz, which supplied the entire municipal area with electricity.
