The Walldürn Public Utilities Department has taken delivery of its new RUTHMANNSTEIGER® T 300 XS HV10 mounted on a Mercedes-Benz Atego 1323 4×4. With this new aerial work platform, the municipal utility is replacing a competitor’s machine previously in use and will rely on a more powerful and modern solution for its daily operations going forward.
The STEIGER® is primarily used for maintenance work on distribution networks (electricity, gas, water), including overhead power lines, street lighting, and temporary emergency power supplies. Thanks to its all-wheel drive, the vehicle is ideally suited for the sometimes rough terrain in the Odenwald region.

The customer was particularly impressed by the high level of safety provided by the plastic work basket with double insulation. At the same time, the STEIGER® T 300 XS HV10 stands out with its compact and agile design, a high payload, and a remarkable reach of 22.50 meters —despite its narrow support width. The working height of 30 meters rounds out the machine’s performance profile.
The Walldürn Public Utilities are delighted with their new aerial work platform and are now fully equipped to tackle upcoming tasks related to the utility network and street lighting.
