Versalift introduces the V-Range, a new 3.5-ton series designed to fill a gap in the European market for truck-mounted aerial work platforms.

Versalift V Range Aerial Work Platform

February 25, 2026 – Versalift and France Elévateur, part of the Time Manufacturing Company (TMC) and long-standing experts in truck-mounted aerial work platforms, today announced the launch of the new V-Range. The 3.5-ton aerial work platform series is fully standardized and was specifically designed to meet the growing demands of European rental companies, energy providers, municipalities, and telecommunications operators. With this launch, TMC is filling a gap in the market: the lack of high-quality, competitively priced solutions in the vehicle class up to 3.5 tons.

The V-Range comprises seven fully standardized models for 3.5-ton chassis with working heights ranging from 17 to 27 meters. All models are designed for daily professional use in demanding environments—from urban maintenance work to energy and telecommunications applications—and will be introduced gradually over the course of the year. “Customers keep asking for reliable products with a good price-performance ratio in the 3.5-ton class,” says Uwe Strotmann, Chief Commercial Officer for TMC Europe. “The V-Range offers exactly that—and is a clear signal from Versalift that it intends to lead this segment.”

As a standardized, platform-based product line, the V-Range combines the engineering expertise of Versalift and Ruthmann with a consistent focus on ease of use, reliability, and fleet efficiency. The series is marketed throughout Europe under the Versalift brand and in France under the France Elévateur brand. All models share a common technical foundation, ensuring consistent performance and a clear, recognizable product identity across the entire series. Through standardization, the V-Range significantly reduces complexity for fleet operators in the form of:

• A fully standardized, proportional control system (XPC)
• A standardized hydraulic architecture
• A unified electronics system across all models
• The Real TIME Connect (RTC) telematics platform, integrated as standard.

User-friendly operation with a single control logic for all applications
All models in the V-Range are equipped with the fully standardized, proportional XPC control system. Once you have learned the system, you can operate any vehicle in the series safely and confidently. Thanks to identical control logic across all machines, switching between different vehicles is seamless and intuitive.
By consistently using the same user interface and control philosophy, the risk of errors decreases, daily productivity increases, and inexperienced operators gain confidence more quickly—a significant advantage for mixed or high-frequency fleets.

Easier to maintain thanks to standardized components
The new series is based on a common hydraulic and electrical architecture that is consistent across the entire product family. This standardization significantly reduces technical complexity, thereby simplifying and speeding up maintenance processes.
Fleet operators benefit from reduced spare parts requirements, more efficient service procedures, and reduced training costs for technicians—all factors that lower operating costs and increase availability.

Simplified Fleet Management
Thanks to a unified technical platform and consistent operating logic, the V-Range enables quick and seamless integration into existing fleets—especially for rental companies. Whether expanding a fleet or introducing new models, the standardized approach ensures immediate compatibility, consistent operating concepts, and significantly simplified fleet management.

Reducing Downtime with Real TIME Connect
Every vehicle in the V-Range comes standard with RTC, a web-based telematics platform for real-time monitoring, rapid fault detection, and efficient troubleshooting. RTC provides graphical machine data, sensor histories, geolocation, and communication via phone or TeamViewer Pilot to accelerate problem resolution and reduce downtime. An expandable system architecture and an integrated black box further support predictive maintenance planning and improve the fleet’s overall availability.

Optimized value for money for rental companies in Europe
The V-Range was developed with a clear focus on competitive pricing and optimized total cost of ownership—a key advantage for European rental fleets looking to adapt to market changes.
Thanks to its standardized design and efficient manufacturing, the new series offers attractive rental terms without compromising on the quality, durability, and reliability for which Versalift is known.

Tried-and-true design, versatile applications
The new series consists of proven and versatile models such as:

V-170: With a working height of 17 meters, the V-170 is designed for urban use and areas with limited access, offering excellent maneuverability and efficiency in daily operations.

V-200: With a working height of 20 meters, this solution combines a long reach, high payload, and optimized handling for a wide range of applications—ideal for fleet operators.

The VA-200-F is an articulated telescopic boom lift with a versatile basket boom that offers maximum flexibility for a wide range of applications.
The VA-200-F will make its debut at APEX 2026, which takes place June 2–6. Visitors can see the machine in action there and learn how the V-Range supports efficient, time-sensitive operations in urban areas and infrastructure environments.

V-230: With a working height of 23 meters, the V-230 offers the ideal balance between height and productivity, providing greater reach within an optimized, user-friendly design.

V-270: With a working height of up to 27 meters, this telescopic model is designed for demanding applications that require maximum vertical reach and stability.

V-250-F: With a working height of 25 meters and equipped with a basket boom, the V-250-F combines direct telescopic reach with enhanced access flexibility for expanded application possibilities on complex construction sites.

VA-240: With a working height of 24 meters, this articulating model is designed for use in complex work environments and offers increased reach and optimal positioning capabilities for safe and controlled work at height.

Series production and the first deliveries are scheduled to begin gradually throughout 2026, depending on the model. The first prototypes will be showcased at various leading trade fairs across Europe.
